The main goal is to provide an easy-to-use software for modelling, simulating and analyzing processes\u00a0described by workflow nets, a Petri net\u00a0class\u00a0initially introduced by Wil van der Aalst (TU Eindhoven). WoPeD is a good choice for\u00a0researchers, teaching staff or students dealing with the application of Petri nets to the area of workflow or business process management. WoPeD has already been successfully used in numerous\u00a0lectures and student assessment projects all over the world. WoPeD is maintained via\u00a0<a title=\"Opens external link in new window\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GitHub<\/a>, a web-based, open source development platform.
